This renovation in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood was about maximizing utility, creating storage solutions and making a home full of color. We created separate spaces for a play room, office, laundry area, wine cellar and mudroom in the basement. On the second floor, a bedroom was redesigned as a nursery and a bathroom updated with growing kids in mind. Heated floor systems, sound proofing, custom cabinetry and cupboards rounded out the project to make this floor a new gathering hub for the homeowners.
